For those that don’t know who I am talking about (the ones that spent the last 10 years on the moon or the ones not intersted by the online steroids business) those guys are by far the biggest steroids scammers operating online  :

• They own at least half of Google’s 3 first pages for the most competitive keywords ,
• they “control” the steroids section of DMOZ (no one else than their sites are listed for the keywords “anabolic steroids” etc..) and
• they own all the biggest bodybuilding “forums” that are in fact there for one thing only “: to promote in a very clever way I have to admit their dirty business by posting fake comments saying “i bought on the site … it is very good and their products are excellent !…

• worldclassbodybuilding (owned by a guy named “basskiller” that is promoting them wherever he cans and he is even doing worst than this : he posts fake posts on his sites concerning their direct competitors saying that they are scammers when it is know by us all that they aren’t … some of them are listed here under “legit” section.

NEVER TRUST ANY INFORMATION, COMMENT, OR “TESTIMONIAL” IN ANY OF THOSE FORUMS BECAUSE ALL THE POSTS PUBLISHED ARE CAREFULLY CHOOSEN AND VERIFIED TO ENSURE THAT THEY COMPLY WITH THEIR OWN IDEAS, OPINIONS, AND TASTES… SO THOSE SITES DO NOT OFFER WHAT WE EXPECT FROM A REAL FORUM : FREEDOM OF SPEECH…

Today, the importance given by teenagers to one’s outside appearance is bigger than ever.
It is completely unfair when thinking about it, but that is just the way it is :
the way someone look will often determine his social rank, comfort and integration and either
give him an advantage and predisposition to succeed socially, either be the biggest handicap in the
way to social integration.

More and more teenagers today have started taking anabolic steroids for different reasons but with all the same goal : look better and bigger.
A few numbers will help you understand better the situation : a few years ago only, a study named “Monitoring the Future” revealed that

- 22 percent of 8th graders,
- 33.2 percent of 10th graders, and
- 46.1 percent of 12th graders

said that it was “fairly easy” for them to obtain steroids.

2.9% of total worldwide student population has confessed to have used steroids at least once by the last year of high school.
But the more alarming number is this one : 48% of the 12 graders interviewed were of the view that steroids were not harmful.

There are 2 major reasons that push to take the plunge and start a first steroids cycle :

First one : Skinny males, knowing that they can dramatically increase their muscular mass and become a different man after a few month only, represent
the majority of steroids “victims”. We have to accept and understand it : the temptation is huge. Skinny male teenagers are often left behind
in those years where other boys, more gifted by the nature, are the idols of all the girls in high school and are admired by them.
Knowing that they can pass from the school midget to one of the school’s most popular boys just by taking these injections and going to gym 5 times
per week must be something hard to refuse.

Second ones : Already good-looking boys that always want more muscles, more strength, enter this endless vicious circle in which you always want more muscles
and you are never really satisfied of your current size (even if at the eyes of everyone, you already are ridiculously big). This is more of an addictive comportment
not justified by a real need like the skinny males from the first group.

All what all those young men see are the gains in muscle, strength, social life etc… and they totally forget about the side-effects of  anabolic steroids that can be
very dangerous if the recommended dose is not respected and large quantities are taken.

But the side-effects are there and they vary depending on the drug used and the dose taken, but here are just a few of them :

- Acne
- Accelerated Baldness
- Gynecomastia
- “Roid Rage” (aggressive behaviour, impulsivity)

Teenagers should be more educated regarding the side-effects and the possible risks linked to anabolic steroids abuse.
Instead of avoiding the subject, parents should dialog with their kids to make sure they understood the risks linked to steroids auto-medication before the males reach the age where the
temptation appears. If a very important psychological disorder is experienced by really under-developped males, medical advise should always be the first thing to do and many programs to
gain weight under the supervision of a doctor are possible today (only for the ones that really need it, not for the ones willing to look better).
